Favourite This one of the books that is a high favourite of mine in the series. I love the play of the characters. I can't tell you how many time I have read it it's a deffinat must excellent read.

4.5 I need to reread this asap. I finished listening to it while at work and I need to listen again to fully appreciate it

Indy and Drew's book was so good! I admit, at first, I felt like I'd missed something. There were all these names thrown at me and I felt like I'd been dumped in the book and missed a couple of chapters... but that could have been because it's been a little while since I read the last book. But once I got into the flow of it and figured Drew and Indy out I was there. What was great bout this book is we are seeing a couple who aren't wary of each other. They aren't two strangers. They're pack, they've grown up together and they know each other. Yes, Drew may not be around all of the time, but there as been no massive gap of time between the two seeing each other. Also, this a couple of dominants. They both have a lot of power and this isn't about what or the other being dominant in this relationship. Nalini Singh does alpha males well, but it's nice to see a strong female MC here to kick a little butt too. Drew was easy to like. I'd liked him in past books so I was always going to like him here. He's smart and cocky and charming. That's a combination that will always work. And he's a man who knows what he wants, and he wants Indigo. And Indy? She was a little slower for me o truly love her... but only by a couple of pages because we'd not seen anywhere near as much of her so far. Once I got to know Indy I loved her. She was fun, independent and strong. She had some walls built up and was afraid of getting hurt being a dominant female in her pack. She was stubborn as, unwilling to change her image of who her mate was to be and she knew Drew didn't fit it, but she was smart enough to realise what was in front of her... eventually. I did question what the story would be in this one. We had a whole lot of relationship with Drew and Insy and there was little background plot we usually have until we were halfway in and then it all got a bit rushed to the end. In that sense, this book felt like filler for what was to come with the Psy and that probably knocks off half a star... but the romance and seeing more of the Snowdancer pack and my fave, Judd? Totally worth it.

Still not the strongest in the series, but a definite improvement from the last two.
