Pleasure Activism The Politics of Feeling Good

No more self-denial. Politics should be a resounding, erotic "yes," not another deadening "no."

There are many ideas propagated here that I vibe with immensely; just found it a bit hard to connect with their delivery. Nevertheless, want to return to/research more on/experiment with some of the topics explored in this book, notably harm reduction in the context of drug use, strategic celibacy, (tenderness during) period sex, and generative somatics. Yay, knowledge! Double yay for embodied knowledge.

enjoyed about four or five of the essays and found the rest only a scratch on the surface. Would have loved more in-depth critical analysis/theory. But that’s not this book! Which is fine!
