Surprisingly good. I thought I wouldn't like it when I began, but after 3 chapters I was too curious and invested in this book, which has all the tropes I hate normally, but it was written well enough that it was alright. It bounces back and forth a lot, but it was fairly easy to read once I figured that out. It just may not be the best book to read over a long period of time if you don't wanna be confused when you come back to it.

I AM COMPLETELY MIND BLOWN! HERE I AM THINKING that the worst that could happen is him being some psycho killer or something like that and then... I can't even, I need to get the second book NOW!

I enjoyed some aspects of this book. But in all honesty I mainly skimmed the book and I most definitely skipped over the parts that were of the past. I found it to be a bit boring at times and very drawn. At some point I was beginning to wonder if the book even had a point to begin with. Towards the end it really began to pick up and I ended up being really intrigued. But still not enough to actually purchase the rest of the books. 
One of my biggest issues was the fact that I couldn't stand or sympathize with the main girl Lauren. Although we had snippets of the past I still feel like I didn't even understand their relationship and why it even happened. 
My favorite part was the incorporation of DID in the book it was a nice touch and the only thing that kept me interested in the book at all. I really would rather much prefer the book in Cal/Chris's POV.
