2 Stars Well, I was hoping that this series would get better and that maybe the characters might start to grow on me, but nope, this book went downhill pretty fast. I actually realized while I was reading that I stopped caring about the characters or their relationships and the last few chapters were a struggle to get through. Between Grim & Trix's instant all-consuming insta love connection and all the events that play out here, I can't suspend my disbelief long enough to care about this story. Book 1 had some potential to be good but book 2 imo was one big mess. I truly hate not finishing a series (especially when it's an author I love) but this is not worth my time when I'm getting very little enjoyment out of it and no longer feel a connection to the characters.
***5 Stars*** This series from the start has been full of action, steaminess, and twist after twist. Iām loving every single second of it!!
