I put off reading these books for a very long time. I've always resisted any attempts to get me to read or watch the original Pride and Prejudice (sans Zombies) - I can't actually tell you why, except that if enough people tell me I MUST do something, teenaged Amanda stamps her foot in my brain and I resist, resist, resist. 

But I'm so glad I read this. Actually, I listened to the Audio book - and man, was it funny. I laughed out loud often. Even when I was out walking or jogging, I'd laugh and I'm sure people think I'm a bit crazy now. But that's fine. 

Really good book - excellent fun. Brilliant juxtaposition between proper English behavior and zombie gore. Mr Hockensmith struck on a great idea, and I'll definitely be reading the next book.

I really liked this book. I thought it was very funny. However, I felt that the characters could have used more work. Only once in a while did I feel that Elizabeth Bennett was truly her character. I'm excited to read the next one.
