Intriguing fantasy that doesn't waste time on exhaustive detail.

After the second read, I appreciate the exploration if oaths and what Hayden starts to learn about this connections to others. This is a retrospective review, so I might be remembering Hayden's growth more from the second book, "Thief."

I look forward to the rest of the pentalogy!
