Adorable! A fantastic way to break gender norms and I can only imagine what adventures Adrienne, Bedelia, and Sparky get up to next. Perfect for young girls and boys.

Princeless Volume 5 already? I think I might have missed a few of the stories in between, but the general story is the same. A kickass princess and her dragon are trying to save her sisters. It's a wonderfully positive story for little girls that looks at women as something other than damsels in distress. I wasn't too fond of the art in this volume. It's changed a lot from the original stories that I read and is a bit clunky for my tastes. I am also a bit wary of Bedelia's plot involving the mother who abandoned hert as a lot of the characters are pressuring her to forgive. I hope the conclusion to that is a bit more nuanced. I truly loathe the way these graphic novels are printed with so many ads in them. But that's been a problem since the beginning. If you liked the first books in the series, volume 5 continues the story and stays true to the characters.

This was one of the best comics ever. It is a comic for children and it just blew my mind. Yay for feminist lessons. Yay for being informative and not preachy. Yay for daring to say that women shouldn't have to behave a certain way just because they are women (and the same goes for men). Please everyone read this!

This was a little bit of a let down from the previous volume. From what I can tell the creators took a year off before starting this again but as such it means that we don't get the continuation from the previous volume and to me it felt like the characters moved in a different direction to how they had been set up - possibly because of fan influence? Also the art wasn't as spot on as it had been before and sometimes characters who were not the focus of the frame were done in a sloppy manner when it came to colour etc.
