This feels like I took a 180 after the first book. I'm going to blame the fact I didn't like it on the FMC. I honestly couldn't stand her. In this one love Serena and Landon so much! He is literally fell first and became obsessed! A lowkey favorite of mine

Definitely a forbidden, age-gag relationship but what I liked is how Serena didn't lose herself with Landon. To make it better he wouldn't let her. They were so much better than the first in my opinion. With this being a novella it is fast paced, so we go from here to there very quickly so I can't fault these books for that. But there was so much more I would like to have seen with the characters and their relationships with other characters. It felt like it was slapped with a fix and for gotten and not wanted to be discussed just so their HEA can come before the The End.

I truly loved everything about this age gap forbidden romance. QB Tyler writes her main characters so flawlessly & I appreciate them for every aspect of their being. she also writes some of the best age gap taboo romances ever & I don’t think I have ever not liked one. Serena & Landon are everything. I felt I identified with Serena in a lot of ways, always wanting to please my family & sometimes you just have to follow your heart. I love that she goes head on in this book & truly becomes her own person. her character development throughout is so easy & happy I appreciate it for all it is.

RTC.. later ________________________________________________ Can we all agree I need to slapped for putting this off for so long? Yea? Okay cool. I honestly loved this book so much bitch I’m mad at myself-____-. I didn’t vibe with First semester that much which is why I was hesitant about this but boy was this a full circle. Serena and Landon are EVERYTHING. I loved the way their relationship formed it was so genuine & organic and oh so hot of course. I’m a sucker for a virgin heroine who wants to explore I can’t even lie. I love it even more when the man is well experienced and WANTS to take his time with her. Yes, yes & MORE YES.. this book was sweet, sexy, swoony, funny & everything I needed it to be to get me out of the reading slump I was in and I’m so grateful. I wouldn’t change not one thing about this book. Even with it being as short as it was it hit all the points it needed to and I didn’t feel like anything was missing. Read it, I’m out.

I really loved Skyler's story in First Semester, but WOWWW I felt incredibly connected to Serena. Aside from her virgin status, of course. (Sorry, mom.) Serena is Skyler's older sister and is following in her father's footsteps to become a lawyer. As the eldest sister, Serena has always felt pressure to be perfect in all facets of life, and always be calm, cool, and collected in all that she does. She begins an internship at her father's law firm and quickly finds herself in a flirtation with his best friend and partner, Landon. Landon essentially volunteers to be her sexual sensei, showing her the ropes and quickly falling head over heels for her sexy librarian vibe. Since Landon is her dad's bestie and 20+ years her senior (and in the middle of a messy divorce and a rebellious teenage son) the two face a good deal of adversity when their relationship goes public. As always with my girl QB, the spice was fantastic. I had to literally TEAR my eyeballs away from my kindle to go do dumb family shit, and I think I highlighted 80% of the book to reference...later. Go read it! 4.5/5

⭐️5 Yet another great novella by this author! I honestly didn't think it could get any better, but of course this author exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved the dynamic between Serena and Landon. I felt like Aiden (in the first novella) was so sweet and kind, and Landon was filled with dominance and possessiveness so if that is much more your style then this is definitely the novella for you.

Souls know no age “A soul knows no age, Serena, and mine recognized something in you instantly. Before I even touched you, I was drawn to you inexplicably. There could never be an end of us.” Serena. Doe eyes. Soft spoken. Good girl. Intern. She is in her graduate program as a law student, and is hungry to take action on what is her legacy. Landon. Powerful. Commanding. Divorcee. Partner. He is a partner with Serena’s father in their law firm, and is widely known as someone who charms every women into his office. With every story there is two sides. The odds are stacked against Landon, but Serena proves him wrong by not paying attention to the office gossip. But because Landon’s reputation proceeds him, it doesn’t take long for sparks to fly. “Second Semester,” by QB Tyler is book two in her Campus Tales Series. It is a forbidden age-gap romance. It surrounds Serena and Landon. Serena is the 21 year old daughter of Landons best friend and partner. This was a quick and easy read and it was not short of the steam it deserved. It can be read as a standalone, but I did start with book one I loved every second of this and can’t wait to finish the rest of the series.
