I fell in love with Ivy and Misfit right away with her sass and his alphahole self. He has no patient, she tests and challenges him. She can hold her own with him that leaves to some good banter. Loved Ford a secondary character that had decent amount of page time. The MC part was good hope to their own series.

           Quick read that was entertaining enough. I was slightly annoyed that Ivy was so close to death but besides mentioning nightmares once it didn’t seem to bother her at all. I’d imagine her injuries/surgery would have left some scarring but that was never mentioned either. She’s a virgin with what should be new scars but there was zero insecurity about her body or anything really. She also didn’t seem to worry about the brother that caused all this trouble for her much either. Basically Ivy needed a lot more development imo. Misfit was hot but ya know...typical alpha type.

Ramzi completely blew me away with Misfit. It’s everything I could have ever hoped for and more—sinfully dark, gritty, and so effing hot 🥵 

Misfit is a bad man who does bad things. Tall, dark, and daddy af, he’s the absolute definition of an alpha asshole. Ivy gives as good as she gets though, and the banter between these two is literally everything.

I adored the vulnerability that Ivy was able to pull out of Misfit, and the glimpse of what made him the man he is today. Plus the way he’d literally do anything for her (and had from the very beginning) had me swooning.
