This was SO MUCH FUN. I read this purely out of nostalgic curiosity and it did NOT disappoint. It’s been years since I’ve picked up a Goosebumps book, and for some random reason the idea just struck me one day and I had to get my hands on one! I was really excited specifically for this one because of its ‘choose your own adventure’ element and it was just so fun. It was incredibly easy to read (I mean, it is for children) but it was also lighthearted and even scary at certain points! I’d laugh at some endings and then really love some others. Ugh, this was just a delight. Now I just need to get more!

One of my goofier life goals is to read all of the Goosebumps books. I loved them as a kid, but our local libraries only had so many. I binged through as many as I could back in the day. As an adult, I noticed a couple at a local charity book store and then decided... Why not? These brought me so much joy as a kid. Let's take a nostalgia trip.

All caps that. It's crazy. I remembered the route to take to get the ending I wanted too. It's kind of creepy, not gonna lie.

This book is fun if you want a choose your own adventure book. It's a creepy carnival with spooky twists and turns. The version I was reading has a shiny cover too, so bonus marks for the cool factor. If you want a lot of endings and a book that will make you think as you go, grab this. It's a wildcard but super fun for those middle grade, horror fans. It's a must read from me. Still just as fun as back in the day!

Classic. I got this used copy on eBay for $3.50, what a steal! 
These style of “choose your own adventure” books need to come back. Even though this is a “kids” book, the suspense at knowing whether I chose the right option kept me violently flipping pages, going back when I made the wrong one and trying again and wanting desperately to seek out all options.
Bring back goosebumps!
