I think if I had to pick which book I hated the most in the Goosebumps series, it would have to be this one >__< Legend of the Lost Legend doesn't make even a tiny bit of sense, and it's hard to be scared when you are so baffled as to why things are happened. 

Justin, Marissa, and their dad are in some fictional European country looking for THE LOST LEGEND so dad can be rich and famous. A silver dog named Silver Dog leads the children away at night to a little hut with a viking woman who should set off all your stranger danger alarms. She tells the kids that there is a test to get the legend, and that her strange wolf-boy friend will help them out. They wake up in a forest the next day to some of the trippiest scenes in all the Goosebumps series. There are strange mechanical mice, fake trees, GIANT cats, and quicksand in a stream with a plug. Eventually they pass the test and wolf-boy tells them that he made the creepy forest for reasons because I have no bloody clue. He gives them an egg, dad shows up, everyone whines because they want the legend, and then suddenly they are lost forever because that's what happens when you find the lost legend, hahaahaa kill me this was terrible with no excuse. It's mad libs Goosebumps for all the sense it made. Arg.
