A pretty great little Goosebumps book. Upon rereading it now, I'd say it qualifies in the top ten. There's very little filler and somehow Stine manages to make scarecrows kind of scary. One of the better covers in the series too. Decent characterization for including an older man who seems to be sort of autistic which was never done before or after. The only weak spot is that the main character never really does anything or accomplishes anything on her own. An awesome finale and a fun twist at the end. Some Goosebumps books are just perfectly suited to certain times of year, and this is the book to read in the Fall.
