The book was awarded both the 1952 National Book Award for Nonfiction and a Burroughs Medal in nature writing.

I thought I love LOVE the sea. But I guess I just love the biological, tidal, and aesthetic aspect + romanticizing it. Selain part itu ini ngebosenin banget apalagi bagian geografi :'). Terus outdated banget, climate change was not a thing yet.
