Time Out Of Mind

"Time Out of Mind" is a novel by Rachel Field. This work is compared to Forsythe's Saga about the life of the "Fortune Family." The novel is written in the voice of Kate Fernald, who joined the Fortune family at the age of ten, as her mother moved into Fortune Folly, the family's seaside home, to work and live with the family.
