this was so good!!!!! i will say that it might not be enjoyable for ppl who want smth action-packed or with faster pace bc thats not rlly what the book is all about. its mostly about friendship, and family, and what it means to try and do the honorable thing. i rlly enjoyed how intricate the world-building was and was glad to learn about it through the narration of ryo. his voice felt clear and distinct even from the beginning which is why i believe the book is so good. ryo is simply a character u want to root for and the careful way he tries to make sense of his situation and the world around him makes for a rlly emotional journey with lots of depth
