“You do not catch villains by chasing them.” Andrei tapped his temple with his fingertip. “You catch them by standing still. By waiting.” I picked up Mafia Casanova after seeing it on instagram and knowing I needed more morally grey Mafia romances to read. While I did enjoy this book, I feel like there was something missing and I cannot put my finger on it. The Hero - Romeo... swoon worthy Casanova whose heart has only belonged to one woman... the woman he let go to be married to his brother Tristan. While Romeo is wrecked, he knows Eden deserves better than a man who comes home with blood on his clothes and the smell of women's perfume on his skin. The girl - Eden has known Tristan and Romeo her whole life. With their families running their businesses in line with each other a future with one of the boys who love her is promising, but while Tristan is the sweet and all around better choice, she can't deny her pull to Romeo. But after Eden and Tristan are married, things become messy and dangerous, and Romeo may be the only one to save her... and her son. Read if you like: - Bad boys on the outside, but good on the inside - star crossed lovers -Mafia Mama Drama -a little mystery -a quick easy read What I missed: -Honestly the book was so short and I needed more spice between Romeo and Eden.... but I see the point of what they had over the years. - I called the ending.... which allot of you might do often but my detective skills are not great... therefore it was extra predictable. Rating: story- ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 romance- star crossed lovers steam- a whole lotta quickies 😂 gore- some minor blood on the collar

Best friends from an early age - Eden and Romeo looked like they were meant to be, but Romeo kept her at arms length their entire lives; so much to protect her, but what good does that do anyway? “Mafia Casanova,” is co-written by authors M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken. It is a standalone romantic mafia suspense story centered around Eden and Romeo and how the life of being in the familigia is full of secrets, lies and heartbreak. Through the darkness of this story, it brings two halves of a whole together in a roundabout way and shows that their love was not inconsequential.
