A cute story, I didn't think it would be set so far into the future compared to Fangirl, it's a bit sad to see what happened to the characters but at the same time I liked the new possibilities

I didn’t know this was about a character from one of her previous books that I haven’t read so I might’ve enjoyed it more had I known. As it stands, the romance was kinda meh, it felt like this novella was mostly about her anxiety regarding Covid, and while that’s very real, it’s not very fun to read about.

** spoiler alert ** This one is sad for me to write. I love everything RR writes, and fangirl I try I reread like once every year or two. But quite simply this was way too covid focused. I knew it would touch on it which seemed fine but most of the book is Raegan focusing on COVID, which is just not what I was interested in. I try to read to escape reality.

1.5 ⭐️ If this wasn’t a short story, I probably wouldn’t have finished it. I went into it looking for a cute, short Christmas book, but instead it was pages and pages of Reagan obsessing over covid. I’m ok with books talking about covid because it is apart of our lives. But this one felt really forced to include it on every page. I understood why the main character was so concerned, but it’s just not something I want to read for fun.

a fun short story This story was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed seeing where Regan was now, and her interactions with her family. The romance was sweet and I loved seeing Regan find love.

I really liked this! It was a very sweet read that incorporated a lot of our fears. They main characters are right; I don’t feel lucky that I get to work from home.

I loved this! It was hands-down the most relatable story I've read since Covid appeared.

My only complaint about this book is that it was so short! I really enjoyed the story and the characters.
