Peace is in the Eye of the Beholder
A study of Arab hostility towards Jews, Zionism, and Israel as expressed in Arab media coverage of Israel-related affairs between 1975-79. Analyzes most of the important newspapers, and also radio and television programs, in the Middle East and North Africa, with special emphasis on Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon. Includes numerous excerpts from the sources and a chapter on antisemitic cartoons (pp. 283-357). Arab antisemitism stems from three sources: the Islamic religion, European antisemitism, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
