I'm not going to lie, I was ready for this to end.
It concluded very quickly after being dragged on, but the ending was sweet. I'm indifferent.

Somewhere between 3 stars or 4 stars, I don't know. I'm still quite shaken. In most parts, it was platonic, I guess? What really turned it around was the plot twist. That was really unexpected (for me). I also didn't expect the ending to be like that and I'm quite happy with it. I couldn't have asked for a better ending for this series. Such a successful series this was, Lauren Kate. Bravo. Updated review: I did not state this, but I thought that it lacked something. I just couldn't pinpoint what.

** spoiler alert ** Nooo no puedo superar el final, es agridulce es hermoso y tragico. no espere que terminara asi

I think its ironic that the last book is the best off all.The plot twist was amazing, although the transition was kinda rough. The climax was ABSOLUTELY MIND-BLOWING, I was so surprised. The big reveal was kinda inappropriate though. The image of Luce is flawed and contrasting to her true identity and that is a big rip-off. But the ending was really romantic & drop-dead gorgeous. An appropriate finale! It gives you that satisfaction at the end of a series.

** spoiler alert ** Honestly just read the last few chapters after trying to work through the beginning. I don’t feel like I missed anything major. But I was right when I guessed on book 2 that Luce was an Angel. Not a bad book, I had a good time reading it. Luce and Daniel were a good love story, I’m satisfied.

great way to end the series!

It was a very good book. The ending was not the best for me but i liked it. It had plot twists I didn't see coming and i liked that. A beautiful book series that ended without leaving unanswered questions

I just read this at 4 am and I am an emotional wreck.

A daring ending but I thought it was very fitting. It finished the story well for Luce and Daniel but leaves a lot to the imagination. The sort of ending that makes for great fanfiction. The last two books are worth getting through the series for. I've said it before, the first two books just aren't as exciting and fast paced as the last two books, this series would have been a brilliant and popular trilogy. The whole concept of this story gripped me from the beginning I just wish the first two books (although I did like both) where better paced, it lost potential, really. The last two books made up for it though, loved them both.

** spoiler alert ** Really?! Is this really how it ends?! I hate open endings, just tell me that they will marry or something, I just can't handle the whole "you-decide-what-will-happen"-thing! Just give me an ending! So yeah, except the fact that I hate open endings I loved this book. I adored it. I admired it. You get my point. It was fantastic! I just wanted to keep and keep and keep reading, because I needed to know what would happen. I felt kind of bad for Lucifer at a certain point, because I honestly believe that at one point he loved Lucinda, and he also believed that everything he did was for her, while actually he was doing it because he wanted power. He just didn't realize it.. The ending was amazing, while at the same time I hated it. I hate endings, I don't want to say goodbye to Luce and Daniel! So, I gave this book 5 stars, because really, I just loved it. Reading it I didn't found anything irritating, I loved the writing style and how everything eventually made sense. I would recommend this book and the rest of the series, especially if you like forbidden romances and maybe a bit of history!

This book was by far my least favorite of the series! It took me nearly three weeks to read it and I didn't even start enjoying it until I was about 300 pages in. It was more predictable than the last four books, I think she perhaps gives away too much too soon, and that's why I feel like I knew how it was going to end before I had even started this book. On the plus side, I do enjoy Kate's writing, her storyline and where she is trying to take the reader is quite enjoyable! The characters were loveable as always and despite the fact that most of them are immortals, the things that they go through, I feel like I can relate to. I do like how the story ended and I did enjoy Luce finding out who she truly was, even though I feel like I had guessed at this a couple of books ago. Would I recommended this to someone? Absolutely. While this book was a bit of a passing note that I didn't love, it was necessary for the series to conclude. And this series on a whole, I did love! I'm not usually very big on fallen angel stories because they seem like they're all just one horrible cliche after another. This one however I find had a refreshing light to it that I enjoyed.

I only gave this three stars because i liked the ending.

I finally read the book. First I didn't want to read it because I didn't want that it would end. But now I did and it was so good. It was so cute

3.5 This one was much better than the first 3 in the series. It reminded me of twilight except that Bella was a bit more interesting, Edward was less pervy and the storyline was just a little bit better

I really enjoyed this final installment to this series. I was on the fence after the 3rd book but this was good and fulfilling.

Everything wraps up with a nice shiny bow... But the "twists" were predictable and not spectacular. I appreciate that it wrapped up so nicely but I didn't see that ooooo factor while reading.

** spoiler alert ** average book boring for most of the book but the rest was interesting but her being an angel was expected although I didn't expect her to be the third angel from the throne or her first love to be lucifer I'm also kinda happy Daniel and luce's story is over cause it got boring fast.
