I'm not really sure what to rate this, it feels like one of those books where the rating is left blank

It kept me hooked from the first page to the last, the writing style was easy to understand and pulled me deeper into the story

Both of the povs felt necessary in this book. 

The boys pov shows how easy it was for Everett, Derek and Ian to do such horrifying acts of violence and assault without even thinking about it

They saw it as natural, even their right to do what they did. The misoginy in this book is disturbingly realistic and terrifying

Bri's pov was so realistic and horrifying to be in. From the assault to the murder scenes, the way she observed it all as they ruined her and her friends, even the observations of how nonchalant the boys were as they destroyed her. It was truly terrifying. Even after being buried alive, she still survived only to be killed by the police afterwards... 

The ending of this book was truly dark, gritty and tragic.. the way the police officers switched from wanting to find the predators and punishing them to the moment they realised it was their own children who would be put behind bars if they were to do so.. so instead of helping Bri, they killed her..

This was scary and bleak but important because it just goes to show how easily people can change their morals and values when it's their own children at risk
