I tend to buy books based on the synopsis and then when I pick them up to read (usually weeks to months after purchasing), I don’t read the synopsis again. So naturally, I went into this one thinking it was a thriller but it’s definitely more of a domestic drama. 

I really did enjoy this one more than I expected. I enjoyed the stories of each character and really felt emotionally attached (almost cried at some points, but a book has still yet to actually make me cry). 

I did feel some parts of the story were a tad bit unrealistic in an overall realistic book but I still enjoyed reading and seeing each character’s development and overall outcome. 

Would recommend to most.
