2.5 Certain parts of this book were okay and certain parts were very boring. It was so hard to focus on this book. I kept drifting off and forgot that I was reading it. At certain parts of the book I wanted to rate it 4 stars, sometimes 3, some times 2, sometimes one (never 5 though) When Ally Condie out clips in from book one, I remembered why I liked the last two books but I also remember just wanting to finish them. Truthfully, I can't believe I actually read 512 pages of this book. I also think that Condie got her idea for these books from the Giver. I mean, this was just a boring version of it honestly. For the first like, I don't know 200 pages I though the book would get more exciting but it only got worse and worse and the ending had no suspense like no climax at all. These books could have been way better

I guess it was only fitting that I read this book during the corona outbreak. The story preaches hope for a better world and that's needed right now.
