Elizabeth Garza

This book was wonderful. It took me longer to read than I preferred, but hey, life. Anyways, this is a great historical fiction that does alternate between present-day time and the happenings in the 1500s. But, oddly enough, it really adds to the story rather than distract from it. 

I am excited to read the next book in the series (if it can really be called that). 

Highly recommend to anyone that loves a beautiful blending of history/fantasy and a good bookish character.
