Very cute sports romanceTM. I thought the writing was good and the characters were really sweet. The Maxine plot line got stale quickly because you could predict what happened there easily enough, but it wasn’t unbearable. I love the representation in this book, it was nice to have. I will say, the romance was cute but very one sided, they definitely aren’t making it very far, but that’s fine, they’re 17 anyway. I had a lot of fun and I barely cringed.
