Perfect end to a fun series. Rockstar fresh out of rehab and the woman who is supposed to help keep him clean. They are so good and although the end went a direction I’m usually not a fan of this was endearing and understandable.

This is the final in the "Hush Note" trilogy. I really had a blast with this one, not quite as much as book 2, but it still was pretty enjoyable. This is the finale in the trilogy and where we finally get Nix's story. Nix is the difficult one of the group, he is the one with many addiction issues and you just know from the previous two books that he has a tortured past that the author would have to work through. I found the set up of the actual romance itself to be unique and different, but not my favorite to be honest. It had all this unrequited angst between them which had been building for years. I did like it but how it all gets resolved? I would have liked to see more couple page time, they were apart in the second half too much in my opinion.

I will say that I found this one to be fascinating. Even though it didn't quite match up to book 2, for some reason, book 2 was everything. But this one was still a solid installment and I liked seeing what we got about the hero's past. I will be honest in that I wish that had been more fleshed out. It seemed to get resolved too quickly to be honest and I didn't like what the heroine does towards the end there. I wish she would have stood by him and not pushed it so much. But its what the author wrote so lol

I did like this book for the most part, but the conflict in the last third of the story turned me off so much I wanted to skim through it. I just didn't like the way that they seperated at all. But it was a solid read. I am not sure this author's writing style is for me though. And not sure I want to continue to read anything more from her. This is not a bad story at all, and the ending was great, I just felt like the conflict was unnecessary. But I do recommend this trilogy if you love rock star romance!
