Against the Wall
Reviews

Jake is the quintessential hometown boy done good. He's a Tribal lawyer who's not afraid to take on the big boys of the Supreme Court. He mixes courtroom drama with being a single dad and that confidence in court rolls over into the bedroom too!
Sophie is an Landscape Architect who wants to make a splash with her latest project. She did not expect to come up against the handsome, intelligent and courteous lawyer for the local tribe. The more she sees of Jake, the more intrigued she is. And seeing him with cutey-pie kid? Total catnip!
Montana itself is a great secondary character in the book. I've never been to the USA but I felt like I could see exactly what the author had depicted inside my head. Jake and Sophie were a great match and I'm a sucker for an enemies to lovers trope! Then you have a well-intentioned by interfering townies and a loving but bickering family with the Lodges!
I love a good western based romance and this was a great example of the genre!

Rating 4 stars - Loved It I am a huge fan of Rebecca Zanetti's Paranormal Romance series The Dark Protectors. I was super excited when I found out she was writing a Contemporary Romance, Against The Wall. Absolutely loved it. Be ready to be swept off your feet with Rebecca's Zanetti's new series Maverick Montana. First off I am a huge Cowboy hero fan, second found Jack to be more sexy as his main job is a lawyer. I love the combination of a cowboy/lawyer hero as it is refreshing. Rebecca had me falling in love with Jack's character right from the beginning when he literally swept Sophie off her feet while riding his horse. Then stating jokingly to is brothers he caught her so she is his. I am a huge fan of Rebecca Zanetti's Alpha Male heroes who are possessive, protective, bit jealous but have a sweet spot for their family and their woman. Wow! Jack was a sexy alpha male hero all the way but is also a sweetheart. Sophie and Jack are hot together and make a perfect couple. The sexual tension got me hot and bothered. Needed a cold shower after the yummy, steamy sex scenes. Loved the secondary characters and they never take away from Jack and Sophie story. Add so much more to the novel. All the characters are so real, all with their own personalities. Jack lost his wife to a car accident and was left to raise his young daughter Leila with out a mother who is so freakin adorable and has all her uncles around her little pinky. His family helps raise her and loved reading Leila scenes especially when it came to her dad and uncles. All the brothers are sexy with Alpha Male Attitudes. Love how they are all protective of their younger sister Dawn. I love how Rebecca Zanetti teases you with possible couples to have their own story. I am hoping Dawn and Hawke who is her brothers best friend, will be a couple. You can tell she has a crush on him and he is protective of her. I am hoping Quinn who is one of the brothers and is the Sheriff and Juliet are next up in The Maverick Montana series. He is very protective of Juliet and is always scowling around her. Curious about them. Against The Wall is an awesome start to what looks like another great series by Rebecca Zanetti. I can not wait to see who is up next in The Maverick Montana series and the sexy cover. Against The Wall is a keeper. ARC provided by publisher Entangled: Brazen at NetGally for an honest review.
