A tax accountant dies young, only to be reincarnated as Iris, the daughter of a duke and the villainess of a romance game, and it just happens that she remembers everything right as she's being exiled by the prince and her former fiance! Determined to avoid her fate, she manages to convince her father and somehow becomes the acting governor of Armelia, the duchy. 

This is a really fun light novel all about Iris's modernization of Armelia's society from feudalism to capitalism. She uses her previous life's experience and knowledge as a tax accountant to transform Armelia and introduces paper currency, banks, public schools, meritocracy based positions, universal health care, and more. There is a bit of romance, but the story largely focuses on Iris's governing of Armelia. I highly recommend if you want a fun breezy read about building up a modern society.
