so that readers unfamiliar with physics may not feel like the wanderer who was unable to see the forest for the trees. May the book bring some one a few happy hours of suggestive thought!

It’s a good book, but I think it’s a bit inconsistent as to who is it written for. I genuinely enjoyed the chapters with imagination puzzles and concepts of relativity, but then, all of a sudden, we jump to Lorenzian transformations and Gaussian coordinates.
Having said that, I’ve finished it and probably will read it again after some catching up on the maths required here.

4.5 stars. :))

Could've used some better adjectives to make it more eloquent but eh, he did a fairly well job of explaining the science.

Best book I picked up during 2018! From master itself without unnecessary interpretations by others.

Redesigned inside and out to have a fresh, appealing look, this new edition of a classic Crown Trade Paperback is a collection of Einstein's own popular writings on his work and describes the meaning of his main theories in a way virtually everyone can understand. From the Trade Paperback edition.

Some explanation are clear and clever, but others require heavy investment. I'm skeptical of the "with only a high school education" claim.

Einstein describes the theories that made him famous, illuminating his case with numerous examples and a smattering of maths. The book is not casual reading but for those who appreciate his work without diving into the arcana of theoretical physics.
