Time For You
Reviews

If you like age gap, slow burn, small-town romance a la Hallmark, this is for you!
I will say the first half of the book was incredibly slow and hard to get into. There were a lot of scenes and inner monologue that didn’t add any value; they made the story feel dragged and boring, at times.
But I did love the fixer-upper aspect of it! Okay, so get this, Autumn has been wanting to buy a home that was in her family for years, but a cousin gambled it away. Once the house is up for bidding, she’s ready. But Colton, the retired NHL player, raised the bid so high, it was impossible to beat.
What I loved was how Autumn had all these ideas for the house in a binder, and Colton brought her in to give ideas for the renovation. It was nice to see them together in this setting.
“I do love when your cheeks turn that color.”
“Really?” I asked as he started prying the tops off the multiple stain colors he had chosen. “Why is that?”
Grabbing a brush, he dipped it into the first stain, the darkest of the colors as he said, “Because I imagine what color your other cheeks would turn under my palm.”
And the best part of this relationship? No third-act breakup!
