Gunning for Truth

Ex-Army Civil Affairs specialist and loner Jo Gunning is headed west, but she detours and finds herself in a small town in rural Alabama. First, she runs afoul of local law enforcement, and then the owner of the local café asks Jo to find the truth about her nephew's death. Jo could have moved on, but she's not one to run when help is needed, so she begins asking questions. However, someone doesn't like her poking around, and they'll do anything to stop her from discovering secrets they want kept in the dark. With enemies at every turn, it will take all of Jo's resourcefulness to survive. This book will be released in November, not the date Amazon shows.
