Roman (Resat Nuri Guntekin dizisi)

Calikusu

This book is about the life of Feride with the first 4 parts being her past involving her life from childhood to adulthood and the last part being the present time. The biggest highlight of this book is Feride herself. Extremely well written character and perhaps my favorite protagonist of all time. The ups and downs in childhood and how she grows with time with every passing age is portrayed remarkably well. Anyone would become immensely attached to this character. The entire part 5 is very mediocre. I am pretty pissed and very disappointed because Feride didnt get the justice her deeply layered character and past deserved. The love interest, Kamran is a terribly written character and the last part pretty much ruined the book. I really wanted this book to atleast have a great and deserving ending after what Feride had went throughout. Not happy.
