Meh. DNF at around 3/4 of the way through. Just couldn't keep my attention any more. I like the idea, but the book itself I could not really get into.

Aldrig någonsin läst en bok om de fyra ryttarna, så det var väldigt coolt koncept. Tyvärr så var det länge mellan första och andra boken och jag läste så mycket emellan att jag inte valde att gå vidare med serien. Så jag vet inte om det kanske säger någonting om boken också. Konceptet var som sagt väldigt intressant, men den fall tyvärr ganska platt för mig.

The fact that this book was written about the Four Horsemen drew me in and I knew that I had to read it. I loved this book for all that it was. I couldn't wait to hear about the descriptions of the cuffs, the horses, the weapons, and also the powers that came along with the horsemen. I found the humor hilarious as well.. I found myself laughing while reading this book mostly from Gideon's sarcasm and from Bas in general.

I do wish that less of the book was dedicated to the mission of getting all four horsemen together/trained and more of it dedicated to them working together as an effective team. I was hoping to read more about them being well-trained and fighting in battles.. That did come along towards the end but I wanted more of it. The end had a plot twist that left me in shock and sadness but it definitely leaves readers wanting to read the next book.
