2 STARS "I want to feel you, Elsa. I want to engrave myself under your skin as deep as you engraved yourself under mine.” The characters and the idea for the story were great, i guess, but if it weren't for that I was interested in what happened to them in the past, I would just stop reading it. Firstly, Elsa should really get a grip. I thought she will be a stronger character, but she is too submissive to Aiden. It’s kinda weird that their whole relationship is based on lust and that she can’t say no to him. Also our main character Aiden, I get it the author gives us the warning about him, but the things this guy is doing to Elsa. He is literally the walking red flag. I love dark romances but it’s kinda funny visualizing 16 year old boy threatening you that he "will destroy you" ( it was in the first book ). I will probably finish the whole trilogy and then the whole series because I am invested, and I love series about a group of friends.

SO GOOD. i don’t even know what to say tbh. elsa’s such a badass and AIDEN MF KING HAD ME SCREAMING, GRIPPING THE BEDSHEETS, CURLING MY TOES🙇🏽‍♀️ and the amount of times i literally gasped reading this book. the backstories????? also RONAN IS HILARIOUS

This series is so bloody addicting, I’m not aidens biggest fan, put the plot is very intriguing.

He's always assaulting her and his threats don't mean anything anymore. The good thing ab this book was the plot twist and cliff hanger

don’t get me wrong, I love their love story - but this should have ended on the first book. It’s so repetitive 😫

La historia en este segundo libro toma un matiz más retorcido pero, sigue muy entretenida e intrigante. He de decir que, la relación entre Aiden y Elsa es un poco lineal, siento que no trasciende más allá de lo físico aunque si lo hace en cierto modo. Es confuso jajaja.

I'm not a fan of this book Elsa was very annoying and frustrating and half the book is repetitive but I need more answers so I'll keep reading the next

at the beginning, aiden was kinda pissing me off but as you keep reading the rest of the series it makes sense and i enjoyed it

What the fuck did I just read? Lol. That was some weird shit and all the secrets that were revealed were criminal minds serial killer level stuff. Idk, I don’t mind a dark high school bully romance once in a while but the family history between Elsa and Aiden was too much to be remotely sane. All throughout the book I stopped caring about them and was more interested in Nash and Silver’s relationship and maybe even a little curious about Kim and Xander. Will I read the next book in the series? Yeah probably bc I’m trash but I’m not dying for the sequel or anything.

Steel Princess is book 2 in the trilogy involving Aiden and Elsa. This book kicks off right after book one ends so you can easily jump right into this one. This one was so packed with dramatics and bullying of course, but in a different way. I just knew that this one would be bananas but yet its this catnip that I can't seem to get enough of. Rina Kent definitely knew what she was doing upon writing these books. I couldn't seem to get enough of this one. In Steel Princess, we get the heroine who does some payback. She overhears a conversation, and yeah we see some truths revealed on the intentions of Aiden, but not everything is black and white and through the game of cat and mouse that these two play with each other, they both learn the significance it and realize the value that they have together and that its worth fighting for. But then of course, another truth bomb comes into play and it delivers on another cliffhanger. It just never ends, but we see the significance of it here. I really had a blast with this installment, and just seeing the various elements of this bully romance, and that deeper portrayal of the complexities to their relationship. I was so drawn into Aiden and Elsa, and seeing them work through some things. We do see what they are willing to do for each other and the type of connection that they have. I was instantly ready to jump into book 3 and see their finale.

If I completely ignore the portions in first book of sexual harassment, this series could be a gem! Rating 2 stars only because of those portions.
