She Persisted: Florence Griffith Joyner

Thank you Penguin Random House Audio for the complimentary audiobook! As I said when I read my first one of these She Persisted chapter books last month, I know I'm not the intended audience but I still really enjoyed listening to this one. The timing on this one is especially good considering the upcoming Olympics and topics currently in the headlines. Of course, FloJo is a familiar name, but I still learned new information about her while listening to this audio. At a little under 30 minutes, it wasn't hard to fit this audio into my day. I'll keep these books in mind if I need gift ideas for someone more in the target audience. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying some supplemental education and great narration by Janina Edwards.
