4.5/5 Stars and 4/5 Spice Caulder always does a great job writing reverse harems in my opinion because she always find the right blend of devotion from all her men/monsters, personalities are different enough to keep you interested, plot is always good and the smut is always solid. I think I've decided that a 3 to 1 ratio for a reverse harem works perfectly...4 would be my limit LOL I loved the setting of this being in dystopian world and women are sacrificed to "The Below" to keep up a peace treaty or so it seems! When the women travel below they are then paired up with a "trifecta" to see if they are mates...yes we have mates <3 The plot was unique and interesting! If breeding isn't for you then this book isn't going to be a fav. I LOVE breeding so this checked all my boxes for me. Sera the FMC needs their baby juice to essentially survive in their world and she can't eat anything either so....she needs more baby juice to live LOL. Did I mention they're flavored?! Sign me up!

4.5 stars, 4 spice. Y’all know I’ve been on a big monster kick lately and this came into my life at the perfect time. Fated mates? Special equipment? Nutritional baby batter? Say less. This is a dystopian, hunger games vibe in which young women are sacrificed to the underworld to keep a peace treaty between the below and the above. Our FMC is unlucky enough to have her name drawn, and thus begins her smutty journey into the abyss. A very sticky journey, since she can’t consume the food down there or she’ll get sick. Yup, you guessed it—she has to survive on her mates’ special juice alone. But at least the flavors are fun. These authors did a fantastic job of creating an immersive world that didn’t feel overwhelming, a difficult task when it comes to fantasy/PNR. The chemistry between the characters was palpable right off the bat, and I loved how the monsters were genuinely so caring towards the FMC. Plot was very unique, spice was excellent, would definitely recommend for monster/RH lovers!
