This was so much fun to go back to! I loved this series in Middle School. It has so much potential. I want more story! I do really love the way R.L. Stone can make you feel something for multiple characters in short amount of time though. I’ve read 300-400 page books before and have had to question why why I even care about certain characters. However, within a few short pages, I found myself developing feelings and understanding of these characters. I just want more of it! With that said, I’m still excited to continue re-reading the rest of the series and then picking up the new Return to Fear Street novels (that are longer and hopefully more fully fleshed our!!)

Reading With Chris

Young me loved this series. 

Grownup me did not. 

I was reading these for a theme week hosted by some of my friends on Bookstagram and I had to stop after reading this one. I need the nostalgia I feel about these books to remain unsullied. So my rating is from young me, not grown up me. Words of advice, don’t reread things from your childhood when you’re 42.
