Not sure how many 5 star ratings I’ve given except to say ‘not many’. This may be my favorite Spenser book (and I’ve read every single one prior to this, and many after this one before I started reading them in sequence). It’s odd too because there was a sequence of pretty mediocre books in the series just a few books ago - and then “bam”, a great one.
