While her father is fighting the war in Europe, 11-year-old Darcy is introduced to new views of life by her new friend Kathleen. Suddenly, Kathleen and her family disappear, and Darcy learns her father is missing in action. Christmas is coming, and Darcy is unsure about the power of God's love and looks for a miracle.
