I don't know that I love the title. The premise is that metabolic dysfunction is the cause of all of our ails, which I don't disbelieve. 

The author does provide some practical ideas. He touts rapamycin as the end all be all of possible drugs we could take to counteract aging and this dysfunction, but then advocates for not taking it at all. 

The more annoying part of this book is may of this recommendations end up in the final chapter on his website. With discount counts and such. Felt like the author led up to the final chapter to shill products.

I think some of the information is valuable, though I'm skeptical of some claims. I disagree with the approach to presenting the information. I do like that the author points out that statins only have a relative risk reduction of 1% and seems to be skeptical of them in the first place. Otherwise it tends to repeat a lot of information, but I don't know if we'd have a book without a little repetition.
