Well, this was creepy AF. 

I had a ton of yarn to ply, so I sat down at the wheel and plyed and listened to this book pretty much straight through. 

It starts innocently enough. The Rolfes want to get out of the hot city for a summer. They find a rental deal on a run-down mansion filled with lovely antiques that seems to be too good to be true. As we all know, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

The dread starts building fairly early, and never really lets up. Malevolent house (or entity in house) is definitely malevolent. 

Nothing really graphic happens, just the slow and dreadful erosion of a person's will and soul. :( And it's creepy and sad.

And I got 2000+ yards of handspun plied.
