Never did I think I will read a book where Einsten and an entity out of this world are both protagonists. When I picked up the book I expected it to be one of these books where a well kept historical secret is revealed or we see the events that lead to that secret unfold, e.g a book I read a few years ago that revealed the Virgin Queen died as a little girl and was replaced with her cousin (boy) who resembled her enough for the ruse to continue until after his death, but boy was I wrong! I did fail to see the book is listed as Paranormal Suspense, so that's completely on me 😅, but I think it made it even better for me, as I was caught by surprise when the paranormal events started. 

The build up is slow- 10 chapters of introducing characters and their background, but I think it's worth it and the chapters are not that long, so around 25% into the book it gets REALLY interesting. I'm not much of a history buff, so perhaps that's why the first 10 chapters did not captivate me as much. Don't get me wrong- at no point did I think to DNF this book, I was just eager to get to the real action 😁. Reflecting on it now that I have finished the book, I actually believe it was nice to get all of the characters and their backgrounds introduced in the beginning rather than throughout the book, so I could focus on the events. 

I really liked the characters. They were brought to life very well and I got the feeling they were people I know and not characters in a book. Einsten is very loveable and just how I would have imagined him. I absolutely love the idea of the implications the events in the book had on world history. 

One think that I would have loved to see more of is Einstein himself. I feel that for a book bearing his name there weren't enough scenes with him.
