Printed... in Mexico!
I have given this book five stars because I have some very sentimental memories from when I was a child hearing this book read by my mom. Looking at it from an adult perspective I do realize that it is definitely more than a little creepy but I still do have a soft spot for the book overall.
Well, that was creepy.
If you have a son, you have to read this book. It never fails to make me cry. I always buy a copy for expectant mothers. It traces the life of a boy and his mother from the son's birth to the mother's old age.
Okay, so it is about a mother stalking her child. But my mother use to read this to me all my life, and honestly, I was a child! The point is the mother loved her child forever and in the end we see the son did to. It's not for adults but children. I love this book because it was a great big part of my life.

Oh I absolutely adore this book. My mom used to read it to my youngest brother and I all the time. This one is a classic for sure. All moms should read this to their children. XOXO And to all the haters out there that say the book is creepy you guys are creepy yourselves for taking a childrens book out of context and not seeing it for what it is..... it shows a mothers love for her child no matter what stage of life they are in. Simple as that.
