In my old age, I've gotten uncomfortable with books about killers with guns who stalk people. So I didn't enjoy this book as much as I might have when I was younger.

This story about a rock band on the road seemed oddly dated to me. I was reminded of George R.R. Martin's Armageddon Rag. 

But the idea that music can change lives is good and important, I guess.
