These books are so good! I love this series so much.

I am happy to be back at Deepdean with this new adventure, I really like the setting and all the girls. am also glad we got to see more of Daisy and Hazel's dorm mates. I have to say I am starting to adore Beanie, she is sometimes frustrating but so sweet!

Hazel is so cool, she is very smart and I like reading from her point of view. I also appreciated her change over the books, especially in this one. Daisy is so overbearing and possessive, so I am glad Hazel grew into her own person, so that their friendship is now more balanced.
Daisy is at times very cool too, but she often behaves very poorly towards Hazel. I can see that their dynamics is changing though, and I am sure it will get better in the next books.

The mystery was so interesting and convoluted, and kept me wondering until the very end. There are so many girls that play an important role, but I didn't get confused because each was well characterised.

I think the only flaw was that in the chunk in the middle, Hazel is going through something and keeps wondering, and the text at times has too many questions, Like "How will this go on? Does she mean that? Will this change?" and it was a bit too much. But it didn't really ruin my enjoyment.

I think I'm really going to love this series, might just be one of my all-time mg faves. That little tiff between Hazel and Daisy, welp, looks like misunderstandings now are the same as they were in the mid-1900s.
