This was my first time reading this author and Wow, I’m impressed. I literally read this book in basically one sitting and it was worth every second of it. I am not typically one for the arranged marriage/marriage of convenience trope, but for some reason, this one really worked for me. Tristan and Belle have past history and it was great to see not only who they are now but who they were when they were younger. The back-and-forth between these two was great. The angst, passion and banter really made reading this slow with ease and was undoubtedly enjoyable. I haven’t read books one through four in the series yet, but seeing how much I liked this one I’m definitely going to go back and re-read those at some point.
