Terror Town ***

An average tale about a town where the residents are turning into monsters before dawn (view spoiler)[ because of weird pentagrams drawn in magic marker on their houses. Turns out its the main character's brother doing it for some unknown reason.  (hide spoiler)] Reminded me of the game Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Some creepy imagery, but not much else.

Medal of Horror *****

One of the best stories in the series, even as an adult. Has some genuine drama and pathos at the end. There's a ghost boy haunting the pond and trying to kill the main character's brother. (view spoiler)[ The ghost boy is after his old medal, and almost succeeds in drowning both the brothers before the town drains the pond and finds his skeleton caught under the weeds.  (hide spoiler)] Fantastic story.

Kid Willie's Ghost *** 

I didn't have as much interest in this story because I really don't care about baseball, but this one is similar to Medal of Horror enough that it's still okay. There's another dead kid ghost haunting a ballpark. I don't remember the other books being so frank about death. This was alright and had a nice ending.
