Roman Crazy gave me a serious case of wanderlust! All I wanted was to pack my bags and disappear to Rome, and possibly live there. I had never read a book that gave such vivid details of a place that I had all my five senses involved in this story.

Avery finds her husband cheating on her with his secretary. When she talks to her best friend who's in Rome, she suggests that Avery should pack her bags and go to Rome. Avery does just that and falls in love with everything that Rome is. One night out with Daisy, her best friend, she sees Marcello for the first time in years. Marcello and her had met in Spain while she was abroad and what had started as something physical, turned to more, but Avery left and never came back. Now, Marcello is angry, hurt, but above all that, he wants Avery back.

There was always the tiniest nugget of hope that maybe someday, somehow, we'd cross paths. And in my optimistic daydreams, I never imagined that our unexpected reunion included me being on my ass on the floor in the middle of a dinner party.

Avery is a character that I immediately gravitated towards to. Her reaction to her husband cheating was priceless, and once she's in Rome, she lets her true self be free. Avery's character growth was so gratifying to read—from someone who had put a stop to her dreams to a woman who went after what she wanted and desired. Her passion for the art form could be felt off the pages. The way she would talk about any project she'd pick up to restore was of a woman who found appreciation in the smallest things and could see the bigger picture of what she could create with her hands.

Marcello was every bit of charming, charismatic, romantic, and totally swoon-worthy. He's so dedicated to his work. You could feel his enthusiasm when he would talk about Rome's culture or any project he was working on, just as Avery. They were the perfect fit! 

Avery's best friend, Daisy, was a great friend. She encourages Avery to go after what she wants, which is art and Marcello. Daisy is a friend that anyone would love to have. She's very energetic and will always be there for you, no matter the time zone difference. I'm really hoping she will have her own book in this series!

The Italian setting was done to a perfection. I could taste and smell the food, I could feel myself walking on the streets of Rome with Avery and Daisy and hear all the chatter of the people surrounding them, especially at the market. I felt like I was restoring one of Avery's projects with my hands. It surprised me just how involved I was in this story. Not only did I feel like I could imagine everything with all the descriptions, I could feel like I was there!

Don't get me started on the food! Whenever I go to Rome, I'm taking Roman Crazy with me so I can visit all the restaurants, especially this coffee shop that Avery would go to pretty much every day. The descriptions of the food had me salivating! I got hungry on various occasions while reading this book. It's impossible not to! I'm also using this book as a guide. Not only that, I plan to do what Avery would do: arrive somewhere that she didn't know and just pick a direction at random. She saw so much of Rome that way so I'm taking notes.

Roman Crazy is a phenomenal second-chance story at love and life, and a woman's journey to go after her dreams. It will give you wanderlust, will make you hungry for all the Italian food, will have you laughing, will have you swooning. Alice and Nina wrote a fantastic start to Broads Abroad series.

OMG, I am super excited to read this title because Alice Clayton and Nina Bocci has created a new romance title together and I cannot wait to read it! Just from the cover and the description makes me so excited to read a new romance story.
Roman Crazy is the first book in the new romance series of Alice Clayton and Nina Bocci. Roman Crazy will bring in new characters that you will want them as your bestie too! With the new fresh characters, you will get to see them more in the later series. 
Roman Crazy will introduce a beautiful yet lost Avery Bardot who is recovering from a divorce and trying to find her way in Italy. Avery Bardot had though she had her things together until she discover her husband cheating on her that she finally realize how unhappy she was in her life. She decides to file for divorce and head to Italy to reevaluate her life again. While she is in Italy, she discover her art again that she dedicated time in focusing her career. While she gets into her art again in Italy, she runs into her former love (true love), Marcello, again. And the sparks definitely begins again!
Marcello is sexy Italy architect that it is no surprise for anyone to drool over him. He is definitely surprise to see Avery again since they have past together and they left on bad terms. He is totally angry with her because he knew she is the one for him but he still love her no matter what that they pick things off again. He is commit to maker her realize that they are meant for her.
They do have adventures together that it will make you laugh at their cute moments. Their relationship definitely progresses throughout the book that they are meant for each other since their love has no bounds. 
Roman Crazy is fantastic romance title that you will love all of the cute moments and laugh your butt off with the hilarious conversations. Five Stars!

If there was ever a book that made me want to pack up my life and board a plane to a European country, Roman Crazy is the one. The sense of wanderlust I felt while reading this one was SO real.

Funny enough, I actually started reading this book on a plane. Sadly, however, I was not headed on some grand overseas adventure. But it didn't matter. A girl can dream while she's at 40,000 feet. (She can also get hit with a huge dose of feels and tear up on the plane, but I digress.) I enjoyed this book SO VERY MUCH. It was funny and sexy and sweet. And yes, there were some feels... but they were mostly happy ones. Y'all know how much I love a a good second chance romance, so this book pretty much had my name written all over it. Avery and Marcello were so OTP that it was nearly impossible to even consider them with anyone else, let alone her having been married to another jerk, I mean guy. 

I really liked both Avery and Marcello. Avery's life was spinning out of control after discovering her jerk of a husband in a compromising position and I loved that she took control of the situation and THEN escaped to Rome. She needed some best friend time and deserved to get away. Running into Marcello was just the bonus. (And oh, what a bonus it was!) Sure, things were rocky... they were bound to be after the way things ended between them in the past, but I loved how they started to give each other another chance and get to know who they were today. The fact that it was set against a backdrop of a city as glorious as Rome was just a bonus. I felt like I was experiencing it all right there with them because the descriptions were so vivid. It was easy to get utterly lost in this book and that's exactly what I did. Marcello was a bit of an enigma to me and I was slightly skeptical of him in the beginning. He just seemed too good to be true and I feared he might be more of a player than I wanted or Avery needed, but thankfully that wasn't the case. He's one of the good ones. 

I'm so happy I loved this one as much as I did. I've been a fan of Alice Clayton since I first picked up Wallbanger years ago. I've been working with Nina as she did PR for other authors and I was so excited to learn she was releasing a book. These two ladies together are pretty much a reader's dream. The Broads Abroad series is off to a great start. I, for one, can't wait to see where they take us next!

Roman Crazy left me with a huge case of Wanderlust! Traveling has always been a somewhat unattainable dream of mine, so I absolutely adore reading about traveling in books. This book gave me all the travel feels!!

After Avery finds her husband in a compromising position (with another woman), she decides to pack up and spend her summer in Italy with her friend. She had no idea that she would run into a man she once had a wonderful experience with... nine years earlier! Second chance romances are my jam, so this DEFINITELY had me excited!

This was a romance story at its heart, but it also surrounded the idea of finding yourself after you think you've lost it all. I loved the messages portrayed in this story, and how wonderfully these authors pulled it all together. This is definitely one that's a great summer read when you're relaxing on the beach or out in the sunshine. Add this one to your TBR's for when you're in the right mood for a sweet Italian love story.
