the author tried too hard for a “plot twist”. You already have to suspend your beliefs for a thriller like this, but it was,,,,too much.

Officially one of my favorite books, it kept me hooked and it was driving me insane. The twists, and the characters were amazing and this is a story I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Rereading thrillers is something tough since you already know the twists, but this is one I’ll reread for years to come. I wish it was even longer so I could enjoy the characters a little more, I highly recommend this book.

A brief synopsis: As Linnea gets familiar with a new group of friends she slowly begins to realize she may be a replacement for a former friend of theirs who disappeared a year ago. When the new friend group goes to a hotel to celebrate one of their birthdays they run into a guy who is set on avenging the apparent death of the girl who Linnea replaced

My review: Normally I would’ve rated this a three star, but the twist was too good for three stars. I didn’t see the twist coming at all and that’s rare for me. I recommend. It’s not the most thrilling, but it is an interesting storyline but it is an interesting one

Again, the twist wasn’t great. Also in my opinion came WAY too late in the book, there wasn’t enough time for the characters to really grasp everything that had happened.
