For me, this is one of those books that you'll devour in one sitting or you will feel like you're being tortured while you wait to read again. Penelope did a good job in my opinion with making you feel every moment along with the characters. It's a gripping, angsty, spicy and emotional read that tells the story of two childhood friends, Amelia and Justin, that were best friends growing up, both from dysfunctional homes and without saying goodbye, Amelia moves away. Now a decade later, they both inherit a house that means alot to both of them and they have to co-exist. In the mix of learning to live together, so much happens and you'll just have to read to find out!

Este libro tiene muchas cosas raras, y algunas que otras cuestionables, pero me gustó bastante y eso es lo único que me importa. Una lectura ligera de gente que se odia pero en el fondo se ama (y muchas cosas en el medio) con un bonito final feliz.

This book was one of the most wholesome steamy books I’ve read. One of my favorite tropes is the we used to be best friends but then had a falling out then fell in love years later. You can tell that The character development and relationships are well thought out and built just right for the story. I loved this book. This was a BEAutiful book that I would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for hot but with a plot. 🔙See what I did there🐝🐝.

4.75 stars ohmygod this is about the cutest book ever. idc what anyone says childhood best friends to enemies to lovers is the superior trope. justin and amelia melted my heart, ugh this was so freaking cute i can’t. and bea and justin, i’m sobbing.

The only time it was interesting to me was when either of the two mains were interacting with Bea. Other than that, it was either boring or repetitive.

sugar, spice and everything nice! this book was beautiful i loved the whole friends to enemies to lovers. the close proximity trope too yes! i was in love with this book from start to finish which is why i read in one sitting. so good and such a well written book.

Obsessed!!! I love love love this book!!!!! And that final sentence, gah my heart!! Such a sweet ending. That song too. Reminded me of Nashville.

** spoiler alert ** 4.5⭐️ Ahh this book was so fucking cute!! I actually cried at the end because I couldn’t handle it. This was my first book from this author and I will definitely be getting through their backlist now! I could feel the connection between Justin and Amelia right from the start. From the moment that they saw each other again after many years apart there was so much sexual tension and so many feels. I loved Justin, even when he was being a dick🤣 He loved Amelia so much, despite trying to hate her. I couldn’t cope with how cute Justin was with Bea. I knew he would be amazing with her. One word: Bumblebee🥺 This book had so much angst but so much cuteness! Disclaimer, Justin does have a girlfriend in the beginning but there is no love-triangle or cheating. So don’t let that put you off. I loved every minute of this book, even when I hated it! Also, the spice is so good!🥵

I am not a fan of forbidden love, but this one was one is a great story! Love how they manage to go back together after those things that happened. It was kinda heavy for me because I was expecting some butterflies HAHAHA but this is a great story. 1st story that I've read on the 1st day of October.
