i honestly wasn’t expecting much when i started this but omg i loved it! madison has my heart completely. her interactions with everyone (except her mom and brad) in this book made my heart flutter. i especially love reading about her and pigeon. the way pigeon got comfortable with her in just a short amount of time is a testament to how lovely she is as a person.

This book was really Not Good.

Wow, this book made me laugh, and fell in love! Definitely one of my fave romcom reads. Where do I get a Tyler?

Bumped it from three stars to four because of that plot twist. Honestly did not see it coming.

This was a cute romance read. The characters were generic and not very fleshed out but it was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed reading this but there were many slow-paced moments.

I gave this book a chance on a whim due to the fact that it was being advertised on goodreads and was kindle unlimited. The romance is so very mild, and it is definitely a slow-burn. It's painstakingly slow to the point where almost nothing happens till the very end. The book mostly focuses on friendship building and family drama. Although all the family drama is rich people drama, and it isn't my favorite. However, the main character struggling to do things right like cleaning is so relatable to me that it was both painfully funny and a great way for me to connect to the character. Also, as a future teacher I loved the teaching aspects. I kinda hate that Tyler is literally perfect though, but it also makes him so great. It's like is it comical or wonderful? The premise of the book was also very unique, and helps this stand out from other romances. Honestly, I was very shocked by this book. However, if you're in it for smut this is not the book for you. In the end, I would say take a chance like I did, and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Cute and fun The story definitely has its cheesy moments, but I enjoyed it overall. Some of the characters have some comedic lines, which were great! I was hoping for a steamier romance, but Tyler and Madison were likeable enough that I could live without it. Something I could have lived without was the world of shallow, rich people. It felt a little farfetched most of the time.

Every once in a while I get in this mood to read this type of books. Sweet, romantic, swooney and very cliche. It was a nice book to pass the time (and feel veryyyy single). I did have some issues regarding their careers and how bad they were at it, but overall I did enjoy the read. This is the type of book to read when your are in a reading slump or just when you want something light and sweet. Or when you just want to read something different from what you've been reading lately.

I thought it was short and sweet, and ultimately just a perfect way for me to get back into the swing of reading lighthearted romances again. Nothing complicated about them.
